Systems Engineer IIITorrance, CA- hybrid- 2 days week remote6+ month contract to potential hire$60-$63 an hour

Immediate hire for Systems Engineer III will be responsible for assisting in design and implementation of clients enterprise system infrastructure, resolving advanced support issues, and assisting the Shift Based System Engineers.

Will also support in implementing the security teams requirements for Windows/Linux OS, VMware vSphere and other clients specific systems. Installing and configuring Server Hardware . Collaborate with the Security Team to create and implement Operating System, VMware vSphere security measures. Assist and Support the Shift Based System Engineers. Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets related to the clients servers, workstations, and other clients specific systems. Conduct regular reviews of documentation and processes ensuring all documentation is current. Ensure the overall health of the servers, workstations and other clients specific systems using the clients tools.

Requirements:8+ Years Experience in System Engineering DisciplinesAdvanced knowledge of operating systems and Hypervisors including: Windows, Linux, vSphereExperience with the Storage Area Networks in relation to VMWare vSphere

Experience with the SolarWinds:

SAM, VMANExperience working with AzureExperience with the following Tools: Splunk, VEEAM Backup and Replication, vCenter, PDQ, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, RedHat Smart Management, Windows System Update Server.

Experience with the following scripting technologies:
Microsoft PowerShell, PowerCLIExcellent written and verbal communications skillsMust be US citizen or GC holder

Bonus Skills:
Cisco experienceCertifications in relevant skill sets
