    Our client is a leading service provider based in the United States, specializing in commercial restoration, construction, and roofing services.

    Their clientele includes some of the most prominent commercial portfolio owners and operators globally, both domestically and internationally. They are currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their ranks.

    Salary/Hourly Rate$75k $95k + BonusPosition OverviewThe Senior Accountant will assist in preparing monthly financial analysis reports, maintaining budgets for cost centers, and generating revenue and cost reports.

    Responsibilities Of The Senior AccountantRecord daily cash transactionsManage weekly credit card transactionsCollaborate with the Accounting department to ensure accurate month-end accounting closureConduct reconciliations for different balance sheet and income statement accountsMaintain records for the companys fixed assets and associated financial reportingGenerate analyses as needed by the CFO to support operations and financeAssist the CFO, Controller, and Accountant in compiling monthly investor and bank reporting packagesCompile weekly KPIs for management reporting across divisions and regionsSupport year-end audit and tax compliance processesContinuously identify opportunities for process improvementConduct ad hoc analyses to aid the operations and finance teamExtract and manage data from internal construction and accounting softwareProduce weekly and monthly reports from various software systemsPerform additional duties and tasks as requiredQualifications For The Senior Accountant1 2 years of relevant experience in either private or public accounting, or equivalent experience and trainingProficiency in Advanced Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas, with a strong emphasis on data compilation and analysisFamiliarity with cloud-based accounting systems, especially experience with the Acumatica system, would be advantageousExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesDemonstrated qualities of honesty, trustworthiness, proactivity, and self-motivationCapacity to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environmentEnthusiastic and proactive approach to handling various responsibilitiesTechnologically adept with proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong organizational skills coupled with keen attention to detailAbility to effectively compile, comprehend, and synthesize large datasets using ExcelOrganized, self-driven, and adept in communication to collaborate within a large accounting team and across operational divisionsWillingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities with guidance from the Controller, CFO, and AccountantProblem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward identifying and communicating issues in a clear and professional mannerEducation RequirementsCompletion of a Bachelors degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA is requiredBenefitsComprehensive benefits packageMedical, dental, and visionShort-term disability (STD)Long-term disability (LTD)Supplemental and voluntary life insurance401(K) with employer matchGenerous paid time off (PTO)As a woman-owned firm, we value diversity.
