Job Description:
This is a Field Support position with daily driving to various retail locations of the client using the candidates personal vehicle with IRS mileage reimbursement rates.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for incident management and technical support of Company-Owned and Authorized Reseller Stores.
Technical Support activities include but are not limited to:
o Desktop, printer, in-store VoIP, wired/wireless/data network, point of sale.
o Specialty computing devices and related hardware
o Signature Capture devices, Receipt Printers, Scanners
o Self-Service Payment Kiosks
o Video Presentation Monitors and associated network devices
o Security Systems (Cameras and Security Desktop PC)
Tier 2 support for Networking Devices including but not limited to
o Routers and switches
o Wireless Access Points
o Wireless Networks
o Experience in LAN/WAN topology, including wired and wireless networks
o Experience with use of network troubleshooting techniques (DOS commands, network software application, etc.)
o Advanced Troubleshooting of network cabling topology utilizing DOS commands.
