    Schedule
    5 days per week, approximately 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

    Job Description

    The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate-complexity echocardiographic exams independently and is expected to recognize abnormal findings and exercise sound clinical judgment in an outpatient setting.

    Responsibilities

    Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.

    Start IVs and administer Definity contrast as needed.

    Complete prereads on all echocardiographic studies.

    Maintain adherence to established protocols, documentation standards, and quality expectations.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent experience.

    ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography (required).

    BLS certification (required).

    Minimum of 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience.

    Familiarity with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems and Epic EMR preferred.
