Basic qualifications

• Programming experience with at least one or two software programming languages.
• 8+ years of experience in software development & automated testing

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Experience influencing software engineers best practices within your team
• Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. You must be obsessed with addressing customer needs.

Role Expectations:

• You design, implement, and deploy solutions using new or existing technologies that test major portions of software (e.g., significant component, set of features, mid-size applications or services).
• You have a solid understanding of software design patterns and test strategy.
• You are able to work independently and with your team to deliver software successfully.
• Your work is consistently high quality (e.g., maintainable, reliable, efficient, etc.) and incorporates best practices.
• Your team trusts your work.
• Your code reviews tend to be rapid and uneventful.
• You provide useful code reviews for changes submitted by others
