    Description
Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health is the only Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) and multidisciplinary clinic that specializes in early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI) on the western slope of Colorado. We currently have clinics in Glenwood Springs, Rifle, Clifton, and Grand Junction, Colorado. We will soon open in Montrose, Colorado with full referral sources in place. We believe in holistic and integrated care, as well as work life balance. Our clinic opens at 8 and closes at 4. The position being offered is with Pediatric Psychology Services of Colorado, which is a specialty therapy and assessment organization. Our work is directly with children in the Swann Clinic as well as private assessments and therapy opportunities from community partners such as pediatricians and support organizations. Ours is an energetic and cohesive team that seeks to build others up while promoting higher education and safe environments for children. Swann Clinic and Pediatric Psychology Services were founded by a psychologist with a strong appreciation for Speech, Occupational, and ABA therapies. What is amazing is you are able to meet with your clients more than once weekly and really see effective change

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience, enjoys a captive caseload, may desire an online caseload of Telehealth clients, and is willing to work directly with kids. This position will include the ability to work some hours from home via telehealth in addition to providing direct face to face services in our center. We understand life has its moments (kids get sick or we just need a break). All opportunities for direct care and Telehealth include supervision of our learners and RBTs. Therefore, you will be able to work multidisciplarily. You are able to set your own schedule and work flexibly within the 8-4 timeframe, making this position highly desirable for families with busy schedules.

We seek to empower each other as diverse individuals and encourage our clinicians in their future learning endeavors. This is an environment of cohesion, respect, mentorship, and learning. We believe clinicians thrive in a positive environment where they can share ideas and flourish in their learning and collaboration. This in turn translates into patient progress. It is truly a simple concept that respect fosters growth.

About Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health:

Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary clinic for children with various ability levels. This means we deliver applied behavioral analysis therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and individual mental health counseling to neurodiverse children ages 1-7. Neurodiversity includes diagnoses such as global developmental delays, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and learning disorders. Ours is a trauma informed model with assent based practices. This means, we respect the boundaries and feelings of our learners, honor their ability to say no or not engage, allow them to fully be themselves, and only teach skills their parents agree to that honor their uniqueness. Our learners grow through play-based interventions, which helps them develop valuable skills they can use later in school and life. Our learners engage in crafts, circle time, quiet time, group lunches, music and movement, and other special activities together.

Swann Clinic is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE). This means we meets the highest standards of care in the nation. We are a neurodiverse and female-owned business focusing on empowerment of our team and learners. Our environment and team are wonderful, and this is truly an amazing place to grow in your career with other professionals. We have professional organizations within our clinics, such as diversity, equity, and inclusion and ethics committees. We have bi-weekly trainings to better hone our skills and teach our team valuable lessons about ABA and other disciplines.

Our clinic is open 8-4, Monday through Friday. No weekends are required. Work outside of work hours is highly discouraged. We have the week of the 4th of July and Christmas off. Memorial day and Labor day are also days off. MLK, Juneteenth, and Native American Heritage Day are paid days off.
