    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee security clearance processes for all facility personnel.
    • Ensure compliance with DoD security clearance requirements.
    • Develop and enforce facility security policies and procedures in accordance with DoD regulations.
    • Conduct regular security briefings and training sessions for staff.
    • Implement and maintain access control measures for the facility.
    • Monitor and manage access badges, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
    • Conduct regular security audits and inspections to identify vulnerabilities.
    • Collaborate with internal and external entities to address any identified security gaps.
    • Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches or threats.
    • Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies in the event of a security incident.
    • Coordinate and assist with security clearance investigations as required.
    • Liaise with government agencies to facilitate clearance processes.
    • Oversee the installation and maintenance of security technology systems, including surveillance cameras and access control systems.
    • Provide ongoing security education and training to employees to enhance security awareness.
    • Stay abreast of changes in security regulations and communicate updates to relevant staff.
    • Maintain accurate records of security activities and incidents.
    • Prepare and submit required security reports to government authorities
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
    • Coordinate drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency plans.
    • Safeguard and manage the handling, storage, and transmission of classified information.
    • Ensure compliance with DoD regulations for classified material.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility security management, with a focus on DoD regulations.
    • Certified Facility Security Officer (FSO) preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of DoD security policies and procedures.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.


    Total compensation is negotiable based on experience including a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and more. It will also come with a comprehensive benefits package, which will include 401k, dental, vision, medical, and other perks. This will all factor into your position as the FSO.
