Job Description

Loan Protection Specialist

Responsibilities:

Review GAP Services Application (*** 298A) for completeness and accuracy to determine if additional information and/or supporting documentation is required from the member.

Process
298A's and make decisions within established guidelines and policies by transfer, finance, cancel, refinance or to send a letter for incorrect 298's received.

Research, analyze and resolve *** 298A discrepancies.
Receive guidance and instructions from Loan Protection supervisors regarding complex issues that are beyond scope for your review.
Maintain detailed records and contact history information on each member interaction and actions taken on your excel spreadsheet.
Communicate with members via eMessage for *** 298A questions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience in progressively responsible administrative work.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective organizational, planning and time management skills.
Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions.
Effective database, word processing, and spreadsheet software skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
