    Job Responsibilities/Duties

    Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks a Risk Management Engineer to support implementation of the Enterprise Risk and Opportunity Management (EROM) process across the organization. Assist with ensuring technical and programmatic risk and opportunity (R&O) identification, assessment and handling are incorporated into the management and decision-making strategies of WRPS. Support effective management and execution of TOC scope to minimize cost and schedule through the minimization of risk impacts and maximization of opportunity benefits that are inherent in the project schedule and cost baseline.

    The Risk Management Engineer's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    Develop and maintain project and program level risk and opportunity registers including conduction of workshops to elicit risk information;

    *Establish working relationships with Integrated Project Teams including interfacing with Project Managers, Project Controls Specialists, Engineers, Estimators, and the client;

    Review, analyze, report, and communicate project and program level risk and opportunity information;

    Identify handling actions and obtaining handling action status from risk and opportunity owners;

    Ensure risk metrics are kept current and support other risk communications;

    Analyze Baseline Change Requests supporting the development of the associated risk consideration;

    Record project risk data in the Site risk repository EROMS and utilize Risk modeling software to perform Monte Carlo Analysis;

    Support proposal development through helping with the identification, characterization, handling action development and status, and analysis of risk;

    Compliance with WRPS policies and procedures;

    Ensure Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) principles are incorporated into the organization's activities; and

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    Grade 16:

    Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Science, Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline; and

    Two (2) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.

    Grade 17:

    Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Science, Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline; and

    Five (5) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.

    Desired Qualifications

    Familiar with various risk and opportunity analysis and identification techniques.

    Ability to create Crystal Ball risk models in Excel Spreadsheets.

    Ability to use Acumen Risk, Safran Risk, or other risk analysis software to perform schedule and cost modeling utilizing schedule logic and Monte Carlo or other methods.

    Ability to learn risk database and risk cause and effect software such as Reality Charting.

    Familiarity with EROMS or the ability to learn to enter risk data into EROMS.

    Basic knowledge in areas such as Risk Management, Project Management, Project Controls, Project Engineering, Construction Management, Safety, cause-effect analysis or any other directly related experience.

    Ability to make presentations and conduct project level and program level risk and opportunity workshops.

    Familiarity with project controls activities such as schedule and budget development, risk analysis tools to perform cost and schedule risk analysis, and Systems Engineering principles.

    Strong MS Office or similar skills specifically in spreadsheet formulation, pivot tables, and data management.

    Communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Grade 16:

    Hiring Range Minimum: $86,138

    Hiring Range Maximum: $108,513

    Grade 17:

    Hiring Range Minimum: $94,650
