    We are currently seeking a Publishing Analyst to contribute to the exciting changes we're making to our publications and products. We are looking for broadly skilled, resourceful, and talented people to join our team. People of all types have been successful at McMaster-Carr; from engineers to business students to thespians. Our team works on a variety of initiatives, such as helping to curate our product offering based on supplier feedback or analyzing and reporting on customer experience insights to help shape our publishing efforts.     • Analyze internal data and conduct external research to identify product mix and merchandising opportunities. Once a product mix is selected, you'll both work with suppliers to quote those products and describe the features that differentiate them from one another and the benefits that those products provide to our customers.
    • Conduct customer research to help us tackle a variety of business questions to continually support our customers. You'll spend time exploring questions like how well customers can use potential new website features, or whether they find our product information helpful or not.
    • Help make industrial concepts more accessible and unfamiliar tasks possible for customers by crafting industrial explanations for products and technical specifications.

    Be Rewarded

    The starting pay range for this role is $95,000 – $105,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for Cash Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (DPS) contributions.
