    Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Summer Position

    • Location: Erving, Massachusetts
    • Position Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
    • Duration: May 15th - June 18th
    • Grade Levels: Pre-Kindergarten to 6th Grade

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders, as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs and progress
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and IEP objectives
    • Deliver services in various settings, including the general education classroom, pull-out sessions, and small group settings
    • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to support students' communication skills across all academic areas
    • Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding classroom accommodations, modifications, and strategies to facilitate students' communication development
    • Monitor and document student progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed based on ongoing assessment
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, goals, and strategies for support at home

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Valid Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
    • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
    • Knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy, including evidence-based intervention techniques and strategies
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized services to students with communication disorders
