    A law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney in San Diego.

    The candidate will manage insurance defense matters with a focus on bodily injury defense, construction defect, employment, or other insurance defense proceedings.

    Work both individually and as part of a cohesive legal team.
    Provide exceptional customer service. Direct legal strategy with the autonomy to litigate according to individual style.


    Duties:
    Handle insurance defense cases, including pre-trial motions, hearings, and trials.
    Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice.
    Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
    Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
    Attend depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences.
    Stay current with legal developments and changes in relevant laws.


    Requirements:
    Admission to practice law in the State of California and in good standing with the State Bar.
    Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
    Experience managing insurance defense matters, preferably with a focus on bodily injury defense, construction defect, or employment cases.
    Strong litigation skills and experience in all phases of litigation.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Additional licensure in other states is a plus.


    Education:
    Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.


    Certifications:
    Admission to practice law in the State of California.
