    Presentation High School is an independent Catholic college preparatory school for young women.

    Presentation High School in San Jose, California is seeking a part-time ASL instructor to join the Modern Language Department in the school year.

    Historically, we have allowed some students to take American Sign Language to fulfill their language requirement, but they have always had to pursue that option off campus.

    This year, we are offering one section of American Sign Language 1 on-site. In , we will be offering American Sign Language 1 and 2.
    Model for students the Catholic mission and values of Presentation High School
    Demonstrate subject matter competency and the ability to communicate that to high school students.
    Create meaningful connections with students through culturally responsive teaching.
    Be available to students who need assistance.
    Education & Experience
    Single-subject teaching credential or Master's Degree in the subject area, preferred
    Relevant teaching experience, preferably 5 or more years at the high school level
    Experience teaching neurodiverse students and familiarity with Universal Design for Learning is a plus
