    Job Overview


    The Operations Clerk "A" will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all types of records pertaining to the operation, maintenance, and construction functions of a service center. Directs and trains other clerical support in the proper operation of the service center administrative functions. Good communication skills (clear and distinctive speech) and good organizational skills are needed.

    Accountabilities:

    • Perform general clerical functions which include answering telephones, processing mail, ordering supplies/materials, maintaining files, formulating correspondence, minutes, and reports.
    • Operate and maintain office equipment which include: copy machine, calculator, facsimile machine, and postage metering machine.
    • Perform general accounting functions which include: the processing of purchase orders, petty cash,and vendor payments.
    • Process daily/bi-weekly payroll and all other associated reports.
    • Process work orders which include the opening and closing of jobs and all related paperwork.
    • To have a general knowledge of personal computers and associated software/ mainframe applications.

    Minimum requirements for job:

    • Typing skill of 41 WPM
    • Basic clerical skills
    • Be able to sit for long periods of time.
