Programmer/Analyst - FVEC

The Programmer/Analyst role involves assisting with programming and operations of the district's Finance and Student Information Systems. Responsibilities include defining, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining new software applications. This encompasses writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs, researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications, along with supporting the Finance and Student Information System, as well as creating and modifying User Defined and customized reports.

**The ideal candidate should have experience in Microsoft SQL, Microsoft reporting services, Visual Studio, and Web Development.**

This role requires on-site work with a comprehensive benefits package.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Assist in developing efficient logic and code for various programming assignments.
Recommend, schedule, and execute software improvements and upgrades.
Write programming scripts to enhance the functionality and performance of information management and student information applications.
Serve as an expert in relational database applications including Student Information Systems, HR and ERP Systems, Microsoft SQL, and other district database applications.
Compile, test, debug, and document source programs.
Analyze and assess existing information management systems and procedures.
Develop customized reports, coordinate testing, implementation, and documentation.
Act as a backup to other Technology Services staff.
Support, maintain, and manage the Data Warehouse.
Collaborate with district and building leadership to ensure equity is integrated into practice.
Perform other assigned tasks by the Director of Instructional Technology & Technology Services or the Information Management Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree, Technical School training, or equivalent related experience.
Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities.
Effective communication with staff, students, and community members.
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
Expertise in relational database applications including Student Information Systems, Microsoft SQL, and other district database applications.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
Experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services.
Experience with ASP.NET and C# programming languages.
Knowledge of computer applications.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 12-month assignment

SALARY:

Supervisory Salary Grade Four Range - $85,854 - $107, School Year);
Plus Excellent Benefit Package
