    Opportunity:

    RN - PCU

    Job Details:


    • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

    • 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract

    • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

    • Float to all inpatient units as needed

    • Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour call back minimum

    • Patient ratio typically 1:4 in 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit

    • Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover

    • Care for post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF patients

    • Handle post-procedure cath, pacer, defibrillator, ablation cases

    • Treat acute chest pain/MI, med/surg overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation

    • Must pass EKG test during first week of hire

    • Required experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips

    • Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)

    • 2 years IMC/PCU/telemetry experience required

    • At least one completed travel assignment required

    • 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required

    • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

    • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS

    • Any color scrubs permitted

    • Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
