    Oak Essentials is looking for a Director of Brand Marketing. In this role, you will report into the Pacific Group (Jenni Kayne, Jenni Kayne Home, Oak Essentials) Chief Brand Officer and will lead the brand marketing strategy for OE, overseeing the execution of marketing programming to build brand awareness, affinity, and product adoption for current product and new launches for Oak Essentials.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Lead Oak Essentials brand marketing strategy - ideate and execute on creative, thoughtful ideas across campaigns, product launches, experiential projects, partnerships, social, and more
    • Maintain brand consistency across channels - understand the Oak Essentials brand look and feel and communicate effectively across teams to keep all launches and initiatives cohesive with brand standards. Provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders to maintain brand integrity
    • Speak on behalf of Oak Essentials for certain press opportunities. Must feel comfortable being a face of the brand and be able to speak to our brand story and product strategy eloquently
    • Partner with the Chief Brand Officer and Brand Communications Manager on press opportunities and strategy for the brand
    • Own and maintain the brand marketing calendar alongside the ecomm and Performance teams
    • Own key product launches inclusive of brand creative, storytelling, key partnerships to amplify launches, and press strategies
    • Collaborate with Buying, Ecomm, Social, PR, and Performance Marketing teams to develop omni-channel plans with a consistent customer journey through the funnel
    • Manage photoshoot calendar, events and experiences, and creative ops execution
    • Quantify the impact of your work on the business by elevating key learnings as well as quantitative and qualitative insights. Develop a deep knowledge of our target audience and routinely understand the effectiveness of our marketing programs
    • Effectively manage budget in partnership with the Chief Brand Officer and Finance teams
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Must be local to New York City or Los Angeles, CA
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant Brand Marketing experience and minimum 2 years working in Beauty
    • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal English-language communications skills
    • Highly strategic, creatively minded and results oriented marketer with a proven track record in campaign development and brand storytelling
    • Practical experience running marketing programs that have successfully scaled across channels - from seasonal shoots to brand campaigns
    • High degree of emotional intelligence; ability to navigate successfully in a highly matrixed global organization
    • Creative strategic thinker and problem solver
    • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
    • Demonstrates strong project management abilities
    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to move and lift heavy objects (15 pounds or more) from time to time as required

    The annual base salary range for this position is $150k - $180k. The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
