- Act as the key point of contact for all customer activities and communication.
- Communicates customers' needs throughout the organization. Seeks to understand problems and constraints, and then creatively resolves issues.
- Review customer demand planning tools and enter purchase orders into ERP system.
- Create production jobs after researching customer order history, job production history, current production schedule, and inventory.
- Maintain customer records by updating ERP information and completing electronic retention.
- Participate in weekly conference call with customers to understand their expedite order needs and near term production requirements.
- Work with operations to optimize production schedule to meet customers' requirements.
- Prepare proof-of-delivery documents as required.
- Issue Return Good Authorizations, follow-up on receipt and returns to customer.
- 2 or 4 year degree in business or STEM or prior Inside Sales/Customer Service experience with an industrial product business.
- Strong customer orientation. Ability to work with and always communicate in a friendly and professional manner. Ability to build rapport.
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy. Documents and electronically files information.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Proficient in MS Office. Experience with ERP systems.
- Self-directed. Positive. Cooperative. Team player.
