    Trail Technician Position
    Serve as a vital member of the backcountry trail crew, contributing to the preservation and enhancement of trails in remote wilderness areas. The position involves completing four-day hitches, carrying all gear and food while performing physically demanding tasks such as clearing trails, restoring signs, and utilizing specialized equipment like chainsaws and crosscut saws.

    Responsibilities:
    • Complete site inspections to ensure compliance with Forest Service regulations.
    • Educate visitors on Leave No Trace ethics for recreation.
    • Maintain accurate records using Natural Resource Manager (NRM) Data system.
