Position Overview: We are seeking multiple School Paraprofessionals to join our dedicated team. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of transition students. Transition students may include those with special needs or those in various stages of transitioning between grade levels or educational programs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during classroom activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and transition plans.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals to address student needs and progress.
• Monitor student behavior and progress, providing feedback to teachers and administrators as needed.
• Assist with classroom management and organization, including preparing materials and resources for lessons.
• Support students in developing social skills, independence, and self-advocacy skills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• pletion of the Minnesota Paraprofessional Test or possession of an associate's degree preferred.
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively with colleagues, and adapt to the changing needs of students.
