    As a Supervisor of Theatrical Services, Scenic, and Event Theming, you will be an integral part of the Technical Entertainment department.

    You will be responsible for overseeing the technical services technician team, and oversee all operational functions of the department, while also assisting in the preparation, execution, and tear down of events.


    You will also:


    Lead our team of technicians and assist with the delegation of tasks and roles while ensuring that daily goals and objectives are being met.

    Work with full-time leadership to improve operation of department and plan for both operational and non-operational days.

    Develop creative ideas for new projects and existing offerings to improve the guest experience.


    Direct technical personnel in order to perform short term and permanent repairs to a variety of theatrical equipment and theming elements.

    Train new and existing technicians on show operations, parade operations, and other responsibilities

    Coach, mentor, direct, constructively criticize, and objectively evaluate subordinate project support personnel.

    Maintain the parade floats, props, and systems.

    Drive in the seasonal parades.


    Assist with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment within the park; including ride audio systems, shows, general park audio, and announcements.


    Setup, rehearse, and run shows in conjunction with the entertainment department; this includes live and recorded audio, lighting, and video.

    Work with the Entertainment team to assist guests.


    Support Park wide holiday and special events with set-up, upkeep, and strike; by completing individual and group projects during non-operational park time for installation of sets, shows, and décor.

    Be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation and SOPs for our seasonal events and entertainment offerings.

    Be available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours and other needs, i.e. be able to work opening shifts, closing shifts, and overnights.

    Assist with all major events including fireworks.

    Perform other duties as assigned.


    What it takes to succeed:
    At least 18 years of age or high school graduate

    Driver's License required

    Be a self-starter, self-motivator, and demonstrate the ability to successfully lead a team

    Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

    Have excellent organizational and planning skills

    Interest in technical theater, themed/live entertainment, and/or theme park operation

    The ability to provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of our guests

    Multi-tasking and time management skills for individual and group projects

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Flexibility to complete different tasks daily


    What else is important:


    Physically able to complete tasks on levels (low level/kneeling, mid-level/squatting, high-level/standing) and must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

    Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.

    Perform upkeep of spaces

    Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.

    Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, (extreme heat to cold temperatures).

    Must provide flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement.

    Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations.

    Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements within established timeline.
