    Role and Responsibilities

    • Assemble metal components according to blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
    • Utilize hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery to fabricate and assemble metal parts with precision and accuracy.
    • Perform quality checks to ensure that finished products meet company standards and customer requirements.
    • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve project deadlines.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the assembly process.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments to coordinate tasks.
    • Participate in training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in metal fabrication techniques.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is preferred.
    • Proven experience as a construction assembler in a metal fabrication environment.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machinery.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations in metal fabrication.

    Preferred Skills

    • Previous experience with metal fabrication software or CAD/CAM programs.
    • Experience working with various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
    • Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
    • Knowledge of different welding techniques and certifications.
