    Description

    Night Security is responsible for working overnight, patrolling the waterpark grounds and other designated areas. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure the waterpark is a safe environment overnight
    • Patrol designated areas by foot, golf cart, or vehicle
    • Complete rounds, reports and other necessary documentation in a timely fashion
    • Setting up and removing overnight cleaning equipment
    • Refill water stations throughout the park
    • Attend staff meetings, morning meetings and other meetings as requested
    • Perform all other duties as requested

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and/or Professional Certification


    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    Experience


    • Previous experience in a security position preferred
    Specialized Knowledge


    • General knowledge of public safety preferred
    Skills


    • Basic problem solving and reasoning skills
    • Remain calm and be able respond to any situations that happen overnight
    Abilities


    • Must be able to communicate effectively with the public and other team members in verbal and written form
    • Ability to work independently
    • Follow and enforce all waterpark standards and expectations

    PHSYICAL DEMANDS

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch.
    The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to wet and or humid conditions; outside weather conditions and extreme heat.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
