    Bidding producer is responsible for line producing jobs and creating estimates based on client input.


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 5 years' experience within a post-production environment and at least three years as a producer
    • College degree in related field. A combination of work experience and education can be substituted

    Familiarity with creative tools:
    Photoshop, After Effects, Flame, Resolve, and Autodesk


    • PC/Mac literate, word and excel proficiency needed
    • Knowledge of live-action protocols and bidding practices such as AICP
    • Scheduling and organizational skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and intense pressure
    • Ability to schedule, prioritize and multitask
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Great communication skills [written and verbal]
    • Knowledge of all delivery formats
    • A good freelancer database, with strong relationships
    • Enjoys socializing within the industry to maintain and build new relationships

    JOB RELATIONSHIPS
    Internal: This position works closely with Producers, Flame Artists, MCR, Grading, CG and Design.

    External: Clients (Agencies, Networks, Production Companies, Editors)


    JOB DUTIES

    • *Create estimates based on the boards and input from the client as well as from technical staff.
    • Work closely with the production teams to foresee scheduling and resource challenges associated with bids in the pipeline Coordinate potential award of job between the departments.
    • *Liaise with Executive Producer and General Manager on job status on a regular basis.
    • Constant client contact
    • Track the job to the approved client budget to ensure your bids are always accurate.
    • Report overages to the Head of Production, General Manager, and client when needed.
    • *Creatively assess the work required to complete a project and provide bid days for VFX breakdowns in line with the VFX pipeline.
    • Consult with VFX supervisors and Head of Departments on creative, technical approaches, and methodologies as needed.
    • Act as a contact for all client liaison on allocated projects and key client accounts.
    • Prepare and lead all creative client discussions with VFX Supervisors.
    • Work with the Business Development Manager and commercial analyst to prepare financials on all bids for approval by EPs.
    • *Attends all client meetings relating to upcoming projects.
    • *Manage recurring clients or accounts as a centralized contact point for recurring revenue.
    • *Stays current of studio capacity and talent capabilities in order to effectively create bids.
    • *Work with the Sales Team to help get pitches together (reels/paperwork/boards/ideas/ presentations).
    • Know where all show reels/deconstructs are held and making sure they are updated.
    • Share information between departments and help to coordinate staff and resources (including freelancers) to cover projects.
    • *Coordinate the recruitment and hiring of freelancers as required for awarded bids.
    • Updating salesforce as our CRM tool with client and bid information.
    • *Drive financial success on your projects to drive revenue growth and net profit for the business
