Description
TWG is currently seeking a Programming Supervisor to lead a hybrid software development team for a fast-growing financial organization based out of Connecticut.
In this role, you will manage a team of developers, fostering their growth and exploring new technologies to improve efficiency.
We are looking for a change agent with a creative problem-solving style who thrives on collaboration and views team success as mission-critical.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of remote and on-site developers, providing feedback, training, and support
Provide supervisory support including coaching, performance evaluation, and career pathing
Manage day-to-day and long-term projects to ensure timely delivery of quality work
Identify areas for improvement and encourage innovative problem-solving
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive technological advancements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience and certifications
Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of multiple high-level programming languages
Experience with Agile methodology; knowledge of Jira is a plus
Passion for financial technology and interest in exploring new tools and technologies
Salary range:
$70,000-$130,000 annually.
