The Department of Physics in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics focusing on neuroscience and/or biophysics.Ideal candidates will have a strong record of impactful research in quantitative systems neuroscience, statistical physics of living systems, brain-gut-microbiome interactions,
computational/theoretical neuro/bio,
advanced machine learning/data analytics,microbial biophysics,
or molecular biophysics.
- A Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- A demonstrated record of exceptional research in neuroscience and/or biophysics
