    Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an

    Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team

    The Interventional Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable and c-arm radiology equipment.

    Assists with diagnostic/interventional procedures to patients of all ages, under the supervision of department Radiologist. Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level. Complies with and provides leadership in maintaining an environment that supports our philosophy and values.


    HOURS:
    Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Varied shifts, M-F call varied shifts and rotation.
    Experience/Qualifications

    Knowledge of radiological standards and procedures normally acquired through completion of a diploma from an approved AMA school of radiological technology, an Associate's Degree in Radiology, or other manner to meet requirements of the ARRT and State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure.

    Minimum of two years' working full time in Diagnostic Radiology necessary to enhance and develop skills, with previous experience in Cath Lab/Special Procedures preferred.

    Possesses State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
    Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
    ACLS certification beneficial.
    Possesses an in-depth knowledge of Cath Lab monitoring systems.

    Possesses complete and thorough understanding of the operation of all equipment and patient monitors including set-up and function: EKG, invasive pressure, NIBP, SAO2, etc.

    Possesses a thorough understanding of EKG rhythm.
    Possesses a working knowledge of both hospital and department specific computer systems.
    Annualcompetencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
