    We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Battery Energy Storage Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating energy storage technologies and advising clients on the most suitable solutions for their applications. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including marketing, project development, proposal development, and project management for energy storage projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate energy storage technology and provide guidance to clients.
    • Lead marketing, project development, and proposal development for energy storage projects.
    • Regularly engage with clients and external stakeholders.
    • Develop scope of work, conceptual design, and execution plans.
    • Prepare engineering cost estimates and schedules.
    • Manage energy storage consulting projects.
    • Lead engineering efforts on multi-discipline energy storage construction projects.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
    • Oversee the creation of construction documents and equipment specifications.
    • Coordinate project design assignments and design teams locally and across different office locations.
    • Provide field engineering support during construction and commissioning.
    • Travel approximately 20% to client offices and project sites, with some potential for overseas travel.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
    • Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
    • 7 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably with EPC project experience.
    • Professional Engineering License (PE)
    • Experience with energy storage in utility-scale and/or large industrial facilities is strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency in software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar.
    • Field construction and commissioning experience is desirable.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities, are essential.
    • Previous consulting engineering experience is preferred.
