    Description:
    Responsible for scheduling patients for cardiac testing and procedures. May also provide multiple site and/or clerical support to our patients, care teams, and billing department. Works to improve efficiencies in the office setting.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION,
    EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE


    EDUCATION:
    High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education. - Required


    EXPERIENCE
    1+ years' experience in physician office setting performing comparable duties - Required

    Knowledge of third-party payers and managed care guidelines - Preferred Experience with a computerized patient management system - Preferred Experience with online third-party payor systems - Preferred


    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    Effective oral communication skills - Required

    Ability to type 35 w.p.m. and/or computer keyboard efficiency - Required

    Ability to work in an organized manner. Must satisfactorily complete front office training - Required

    Ability to work under pressure and to consistently prioritize multiple tasks (demonstrates adaptability/flexibility) - Required

    Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail while performing tasks - Required

    Ability to demonstrate poise during stressful situations - Required

    Has the skill and desire to work as a team member - Required
