    The Associate Director of Early College Experience (ECE) reports to the Director of Early College Experience.

    The individual in this position is responsible for assisting the Director in all aspects of Concurrent enrollment such as promoting Concurrent Programs to the community and participating high schools; student recruitment, registration and advising; coordinating the review, approval, and procedural processes for concurrent courses and instructors for NACEP Accreditation.


    The outstanding candidate is knowledgeable of education programs and tools related to secondary and higher education; demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office; and understands today's learning technologies.

    Essential Duties
    Assists the Director in all aspects of Concurrent enrollment.
    Participates in student recruitment, registration and advising.
    Participates in College/Career fairs and orientation events at the high schools.
    Provides support and guidance to High School Relations staff.
    Responds to technology issues with accessing NWACC course materials.
    Provides guidance to local high school IT departments.
    Provides students with technical assistance and Canvas support.
    Assists students during Workday application, Onboarding, and registration.
    Reviews applications to ensure that students submit all required documents.
    Processes student enrollments, drops, withdrawals.
    Enters, updates and reviews data and records.
    Corresponds with new and currently registered students using various channels of messaging.
    Performs degree audits, monitors student success, and provides intervention programs for struggling students.
    Salary $46,000 annually
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    Experience working in an Education-related field.
    Experience in speaking/presenting in front of large groups.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    Regular, dependable, and non-disruptive attendance is required.
    Ability to troubleshoot computer browser issues in person and remotely.
    Ability to engage and network with other IT professionals.
    Understanding of current learning technologies and ability to learn modern technologies.
    Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    Ability to multitask and prioritize.
    Excellent customer service.
    Ability to understand and interpret rules and regulations.
    Ability to adjust to change.
    Ability to manage confidential material judiciously.
    Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

    Professional Competencies
    Bachelor's degree in education or related field with 2 years related experience and/or training. Understanding of education programs and tools related to community colleges.
