- Leads Revenue Plan by directing North America Pharma Analytics sales team activities to meet financial objectives, set regional goals, develop sales metrics, and drive activity to achieve targets.
- Prepares annual and quarterly budgets and staffing plans to support strategic business plans.
- Responsible for accurate sales forecasts by maintaining detailed sales pipeline data and ensuring robust new and recurring business pipelines across North America.
- Establishes relationships with channel partners, key accounts, and industry leaders to stay informed about market trends and developments.
- Identifies and implements best sales practices within North America.
- Develops a comprehensive sales approach to increase revenue across the business portfolio.
- Instills a "hunter mentality" in the team to expand the customer base and grow new business opportunities.
- Identifies talent requirements, recruits, deploys, and develops personnel resources to achieve targets.
- Promotes collaboration and teamwork to support customers effectively.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Biotechnology or related field.
- 8-10 years of technical sales/marketing experience with a background in selling to the bioprocess industry, including at least 5 years of people management.
- Demonstrated ability in a globally matrixed organization, leadership in business sales planning, recruitment, and team development.
- Proficiency in strategy and sales planning, CRM usage (Salesforce), and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in value selling techniques, complex product/technology solutions, downstream purification workflows, and handling lengthy sales cycles.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, customer service excellence, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
