As part of our commitment to student success, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team on a contracted basis.

    Position Overview: As a Contracted SLPA, you will work closely with our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide speech and language services to students within our school district. You will assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans and educational goals designed to address students' communication needs.
    • Conduct individual or small group therapy sessions in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies for enhancing communication skills in the classroom and other settings.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress, including session notes, data collection, and progress reports.
    • Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other collaborative discussions related to student programming and support.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
    • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) from an accredited program.
    • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for addressing speech and language disorders.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in accordance with state and federal regulations.
    Additional Information:
    • This is a contracted position with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability.
    • Hours and scheduling may vary based on student needs and caseload assignments.
