Job summary
The Yarn Prep Operator sets up and runs equipment to prepare incoming materials for the textile manufacturing process.Obtains training and knowledge for operating various types of Yarn Prep machinery.
Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions to set up and operate the textile equipment they are trained to operate.
Visually inspects product as it is running on their machine and documents/reports defects onto the production records and/or to their supervisor or quality team member.
- Maintains clean machinery, parts, and surrounding area.
- Completes all associated paperwork & ERP tasks as required.
