- Performing and providing technical support for installations, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical, Instrumentation, electrical, and rotating equipment.
- Performing planned maintenance checks and calibration within a timely manner and submits appropriate reports.
- Applying knowledge and experience with precision tools such as Fluke meters, temp gages, torque wrench, dial indicators, laser alignment tools, etc.
- Complete pump tear down/rebuild inspections and new pump installations.
- Working with Pipeline Integrity and Reliability group for new technologies around rotating equipment.
- Minimizing downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintaining mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation skills by attending training sessions and on-the-job training.
- Disassembling equipment, recording as-found and as-left measurements, clearances, and/or tolerances and reassembling machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems with terminal and field units.
- Troubleshooting and repairing minor and major electrical control circuits.
- Responding to emergencies and participate in emergency response.
- Participating in Safety Action Plans.
- Completing and maintaining required operations and safety/regulatory training (CBT), including required Operator Qualifications for DOT covered tasks.
- Pursuing cost reduction opportunities.
- Reading and understanding pump curves.
- Reading and understanding P&ID's, mechanical and wiring diagrams.
- Performing work on air pollution control equipment.
- Providing support to Quality Assurance\Quality Control over 3rd Party contractors performing major maintenance.

- Must maintain a valid drivers license
- 2 or more years of Instrumentation and/or Electrical experience in relevant Industry (Midstream, Pipelines or Terminals)
- To travel up to 40% of the time

- To climb up to 200 feet using both inclined and vertical steps/ladders
- To lift up to 45 pounds and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain.

- Associate's degree in Electrical Maintenance, Instrumentation or Mechanical
- 4 or more years of relevant Industry experience (Midstream, Pipeline or Terminals) or Military experience
- 4 or more years of experience working with any of the following:
- Electrical power and components
- Digital and analog circuitry
- One-line drawings and schematics
- Allen-Bradley PLCs

Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the futureThis Instrumentation & Electrical Technician will be based out of Liberal, KS and is primarily responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of Company pipeline and plant assets located in the plant and around the geographic area. The position will calibrate and inspect measurement equipment, conduct routine plant maintenance, eliminate, and report product leaks, seeps, and spills, as well as assist with construction, maintenance, and mechanical integrity projects in the plant. The position will maintain qualifications and record documentation in accordance with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities May Include:
Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
