    Grain Millers Inc. has an opportunity for a career-oriented electrician in our Eugene, Oregon facility.

    Applicant must be able to pass a company paid physical and drug screen.

    PositionPosition is responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, replacement and installation of new and existing production and electrical equipment and systems in an industrial environment.

    Essential Job FunctionsTroubleshoot and repair control, power, network systems and plant equipment on a day-to-day basis.
    Troubleshoot electrical issues with motors, starters, manufacturers equipment and building systems.
    Run new conduit and wiring as needed to support systems upgrades.
    Provide check-out and startup commissioning support of new systems and plant equipment.
    RequirementsMust possess a current Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license at a minimum.
    Must be able to configure, troubleshoot, and demonstrate experience with electrical control circuits including analog/digital wiring and relay logic.
    Must have experience reading electrical schematics, control narratives, and drawings.
    Must be able to interpret and apply the NEC and Oregon electrical code.
    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required. Work with operators and plant managers on the plant floor to address issues that arise. Work with and suggest process improvements to managers.
    Ability and willingness to be on call after hours.
    Work with outside vendors on hardware installations.

    Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and organize the workload to handle multiple priorities and simultaneously meet deadlines.

    Must be knowledgeable of electrical, instrumentation and controls theories, principles and acceptable practices and techniques and be able to interpret and apply the NEC and Oregon electrical code.

    Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and GE PLC's is a plus.
