    SUMMARY :

    SABG is seeking a Training/Workshop Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) Policy Management and Operations Shared Services (PMOSS) office.

    This position works a hybrid schedule with 1-2 days in office at the Pentagon.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for the development, coordination, and management of training programs for the OSD PMOSS office

    Tradecraft And Training:
    Develop and administratively manage on-site training tailored for OUSD(P) staff
    Manage scheduling and payment of trainings provided by vendors
    Manage requested training and professional development requests by the Policy workforce in an Excel spreadsheet, showing names,

    training/development

    course, and cost
    Track and provide administrative support to National Security Rotation Program (NSRP) employees (time keeping, leave processing, pay, travel, and emergency needs)

    Assist Policy employees upon request, at the expected rate of 5-6 per month, in their development of leadership and management skills, using approved Individual Development Plan (IDP) templates.

    Assist these Policy employees plan out for the course of their individual training year suitable professional development courses to fulfill their identified learning requirements
    Conduct data collection and analysis of workplace climate (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups), including advance knowledge of MS Excel software
    Provide support in the development, design, and distribution of the monthly "LOD Update" email, which highlights 3-4 key training and professional development opportunities available to the Policy workforce
    Assist the government employee in the development and promulgation of a "talent" / "performance" management model for OSD Policy (e.g., developing concept and drafting proposals)

    Assist in the development and execution of organizational change and development efforts and specific events, including team building exercises, etc.

    Assist the government employee in the -selection and proposal of available training courses to make them applicable for Policy's professional development needs and identification of specific training and professional development courses, outlined in the sections above, that are applicable and/or tailorable to the breadth of Policy's workforce, including government career civilians, political appointees, government detailees and IPAs, military personnel, and contractors (both Subject-matter expert (SME)s and administrative support).


    SUPERVISION :
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor degree and 5+ years of experience developing and managing training programs is required
    Experience coordinating with vendors to provide training courses and workshops is desired

    COMPUTER SKILLS :
    Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
    Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    LANGUAGE SKILLS :

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
    Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
