    Description

    Senior Property Accountant Residential Affordable Portfolio

    A successful residential real estate property management firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant with experience to perform accounting and financial operations for a portfolio of affordable residential units (LIHTC). This individual will be part of a cohesive group of professionals that manage this successful and growing organization. Ideal candidates will be intelligent, self-starters that are detail-oriented and have strong time management skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyze property-level financial statements for an assigned residential real estate portfolio.
    • Perform month-end close procedures and prepare monthly reporting packages.
    • Oversee all facets of day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.
    • Review full cycle accounts payable and receivable functions.
    • Prepare and analyze property level annual budgets.
    • Prepare year-end workpapers for outside accountant's income tax preparation.
    • Assist with special projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • BA in Accounting / Finance or relevant discipline.
    • 2+ years of experience with property accounting required.
    • Proficiency with Yardi software a plus.
    • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
    • Be able to multi-task and be a team player.

    Salary range: $75,000 - $80,000 plus bonus, health, and wellness benefits.

    The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity, and other non-cash incentives.
