Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative accounting assistant to support our team in Freeport, NY. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities

Manage general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, credit, and collections with high accuracy.
Collaborate with the controller on additional accounting and administrative projects.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of diverse bookkeeping experience.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Nav and ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
Some property management experience is beneficial.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
