    Responsibilities:
    • Timely completion of RFQ, ECN, CPOD, PLEX, QAD, CDR, and Prolink deliverables.
    • Exploration and implementation of new technologies to enhance production performance.
    • Maintenance of stringent tooling and equipment standards for the plant.
    • Supervision of technical support to manufacturing, ensuring tools, equipment, and processes meet essential requirements.
    • Oversight of support provided to PDT teams on manufacturing feasibility, cost, safety, and product design.
    • Validation of compliance of new or transferred tools/equipment with OSHA and company safety standards.
    • Enforcement of company safety policies and procedures among contractors under engineering direction.
    • Assistance in new product launches with process development, dimensional analysis, operator instructions, and additional required technical information.
    • Provision of technical support to address customer quality issues and detailed information for new business quotes and engineering changes, including capital, start-up costs, and labor when necessary.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in manufacturing plant operations is a must, with preference given to those with Tier 1 automotive experience in a unionized facility.
    Skills/Abilities:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team-oriented, union environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong organizational and project planning skills.
    • Working knowledge of the IATF/ISO14001 standard is necessary.
    Preferences:
    • Candidates with a combination of technical knowledge and leadership experience in similar roles will be preferred.
    • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
