    Wage:

    $ $35.00/hour

    Sign on Bonus:

    $10,000, paid out over 2 years

    Position Summary:


    The Grants and Data Specialist is a remote position responsible for grant writing for Senior Services and other programs of Catholic Charities.

    This will include the Senior Corp programs and associated reporting, contract requirements and invoicing for these programs and Volunteer Services.

    The position will develop and maintain volunteer and client databases to collect information on volunteer hours, client hours, and designated contract deliverables.

    The databases will be available to match client needs with volunteer skills for the Senior Service Specialists.

    Responsibilities:

    Submit Senior Corp grants and reports

    Work with Associate Director and Senior Service team on required deliverables for grant submissions

    Work with Associate Director and Controller on the budget required for each grant to submit electronically

    Develop volunteer and client data tracking systems and manage service data collection and Submission for Senior Services and other Catholic Charities programs using volunteers

    Track volunteers and volunteer hours by program

    Maintain records on Volunteer stations required for RSVP

    Report client and volunteer hours in the format required to funders

    Track clients by program and hours of service

    Enter data for volunteers, clients, hours and service projects to ensure accuracy of client and volunteer databases

    Work collaboratively with Development and Outreach Department and Program Managers/Directors for new and renewal grant submissions for Catholic Charities and CCHS

    Submit volunteer expense reports

    Receive volunteer expense reports and review for accuracy prior to submission to finance department

    Develop and implement procedures to conduct Quality Assurance on Senior Service Programs

    Collaborate with Associate Director of Volunteer Services and Senior Services team to conduct Quality Assurance reviews based on grant deliverables

    Participate in supervision and team meetings

    Participate in supervision with the Associate Director of Volunteer Services

    Participate in Senior Services team meetings

    Participate in an annual performance evaluation according to the agency guidelines and set goals for individual and team performance

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analyst or related field

    Experience

    5 years experience in grant writing, database development and management

    Special Skills

    Ability to write clear, concise grants, with goals and timeframes

    Ability to develop and maintain databases

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams

    Strong computer and data analytic skills

    Licensure, Registration, Certifications

    Valid Washington State driver's license and agency required auto insurance.
