Respiratory Therapist – Pulmonary Function Technologist

Respiratory Care

Full-Time

Contribute to our mission of improving mobility and enhancing the quality of life for all.

As an essential member of our interdisciplinary team you will assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
ventilator care management, patient/family education, and application of airway clearance techniques/devices, pulmonary function testing, and electrocardiograms.

The successful candidate will require an associate degree and NYS Licensed (RRT).

Will be expected to maintain BLS certification, as well as being familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within respiratory care.

We will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in accordance with the department's policies and procedures.

The ability to perform a variety of tasks with a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Graduate of AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy Therapist program

NYS License & Registration


AHA BLS
1 year of pulmonary function testing experience preferred

2 years of general and intensive/critical respiratory care to include ventilator management preferred

Pay Range - Minimum

USD $52.50/Hr.

Pay Range - Maximum

USD $54.81/Hr.
