    • Evaluates and provides evidence-based treatment for a wide variety of expressive and receptive language disorders, cognitive disorders, speech disorders, dysphagia, fluency, voice, and social communication.n2. Develops plan of care with realistic and measurable short- and long-term goals most appropriate to the patients learning style and therapeutic needs. Clinician will utilize patient and/or family input, taking into account psycho-social, cultural and spiritual needs. n3. Assists in adjusting schedules to accommodate changes in caseload in the department. Supervises operation of specific treatment team. n4. Maintain patient records according to hospital policy, completing evaluations, re-evaluations, progress and treatment notes, charges, and discharge summaries within departmental time guidelines.n5. Contributes to the overall performance of the department through professional development strategies, including, but not limited to competency training, clinical instructor, in service coordination, serving as a mentor in area of clinical expertise, program leader, attendance of meetings, and performance improvement ideas.n6. Demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in education offerings, independently achieve and maintain CEUs for SC LLR.n7. Adheres to the American Speech Language and Hearing Code of Ethics and Preferred Practice Patterns, SC State LLR guidelines, hospital/departmental Policies and Proceduresn8. Communicates with physicians, other medical personnel and members of the interdisciplinary medical team regarding treatment provided, patients progress or complications, recommendations, and clarification of orders.n9. Utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff. Ensures an orderly, clean and safe work area. n10. Performs other duties as assigned.
    Assured Nursing Job ID # Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
