Position Summary:

Performs laboratory analysis and quality control testing following clearly defined criteria
Reports any unusual conditions to the Senior Tech, Coordinator over that area, in the absence of the Director or the Pathologist.

Essential Functions:

Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.

Reports to: Director of Laboratory

Minimum Education
Associate degree from an accredited institution as a Medical Laboratory Technician; or equivalent in accordance with the CLIA requirements Required
Medical Lab Technician Trainee License is acceptable provided graduation from an accredited Medical Lab Technician Program has been completed and will test within 1 year of hire.Drag Edit DeleteRequired Skills

Licenses:
Registry from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent registry and West Virginia State Laboratory Technician licensure OR Medical Lab Technician Trainee License is acceptable provided graduation from an accredited Medical Lab Technician Program has been completed and will test within 1 year of hire.
