Description

Responsibilities:

Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care

Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse

Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures

Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals

Assist with gastric lavage and IV infusion as needed

Provide patient service and support, ensuring their comfort and well-being

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Assist with the setup and maintenance of medical equipment (DME)

Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment

Requirements:

Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred

Proficiency in basic nursing skills, including vital signs and physical examinations

Knowledge of medication administration protocols

Familiarity with IV infusion procedures

Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
