    Job Description

    Role: SAS Platform Engineer

    Drive and Lead SAS Viya4 deployments based on Openshift/Kubernetes cluster.

    Act as a Technical leader in the design, development, and implementation of the SAS analytics platform.

    Provide timely, professional and quality delivery outputs on assigned projects, leveraging expertise in the application of specific SAS technologies, solutions, methodologies, and project experiences.

    Viewed as a technology subject matter expert; able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors.

    3+ years of Experience in cloud concepts.

    3+ years of Experience working on public clouds (Azure/AWS/GCP) using Kubernetes.

    3+ years deploying distributed apps with containers (Docker) & orchestration (Kubernetes, Kubectl commands, etc)

    3+ years of experience managing production Kubernetes infrastructure.

    Experience using and optimizing monitoring and trending systems (Prometheus, Grafana)

    Experience in SAS Viya 4.0 and SAS Grid platform administration.

    Strong understanding of SAS, Linux, and SQL.

    Experience of programming in SAS preferred.

    Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
