    Description
    Shift Lead - BOHWe are looking for Shift Leads who will be responsible for customer satisfaction and product quality

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


    Valid Food Handlers Certification required prior to hiring (Manager's Certification a PLUS).Ensure that the operation runs smoothly, efficiently and according to industry standards while also overseeing and directing employees.

    Assists the Kitchen Manager with ordering, Inventory, waste logs, etc.

    Oversees the production of food to make sure employees are distributing food that is of the appropriate temperature and quality.

    Knows how to perform each task required of their crew.
    Responsible for organization, cleanliness and general problem-solving while on duty.
    In charge of assisting staff with problems and discounts etc.
    Keeps details manager logs accounting for any problem that happened on the day.
    Assigns tasks to kitchen staff and makes sure they are doing them properly and efficiently.
    Provides breaks to employees and ensure that the positions are covered as each worker rotates through.

    If employees call in sick or fail to report to work, shift leaders must either find replacements or reorganize the help on hand to make up for the missing labor.

    Should employees commit errors or need to be reprimanded, the shift leader must either resolve the situation or alert the store manager, depending on the situation.

    Routinely checks the store to ensure it meets the food and safety code requirements.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.
