    Job Description:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Civil Engineer to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

    This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects including healthcare facilities, government buildings, parking garages, and tunnels.

    As a Senior Structural Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and analysis of structural systems.


    Responsibilities:


    Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of projects including healthcare facilities, government buildings, parking garages, and tunnels.

    Develop structural designs and calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
    Perform site visits and assessments to gather project requirements and identify design constraints.
    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
    Review and approve design drawings and specifications.
    Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design.
    Professional Engineer (PE) certification or on a PE track.
    Proficiency in structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.
    Experience in concrete design for healthcare facilities, government buildings, parking garages, or tunnels.
    Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ACI, AISC).
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    Experience with seismic analysis and design.
    Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software.
    Previous experience in leadership roles or project management.
