- Designing, testing, and implementing automation systems.
- Reviewing customer requirements and proposing equipment control designs.
- Preparing engineering documentation, wiring schematics, assembly drawings, bills of material, and panel machining drawings.
- Collaborating with manufacturing to ensure equipment meets design and customer specifications.
- Ensuring system functionality and product quality by complying with safety regulations and specifications.
- Overseeing project completion by training and guiding build technicians when needed.
- 3 - 5 years' relevant experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in HMI, PLC, motion controls, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with AutoCAD electrical.
- Prior experience with robotics implementation is a plus.

Our client is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing control systems for robotics, conveyor/material handling, and other automation systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and reasoning skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in the MS Office Suite. This is a 1st shift Monday-Friday position, lasting 2-5 months with a potential for extension.
