DescriptionVillage Travel is an award winning, family-owned company that operates a large fleet of over 200 charter motorcoaches. The Company began in 1980 and has since expanded its regional footprint and continues to grow into one of the largest full-service charter and tour operations in the Midwest.
We are seeking an on-site Dispatcher for our office in Catoosa, OK. This is a full-time position responsible for dispatching motorcoaches and drivers and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
The schedule is in the office Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Dispatcher Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assign drivers in accordance with company expectations, policies and procedures adhering to hours-of-service regulations.
- Dispatch approximately 25 motor coaches and 50 drivers.
- Provide drivers with complete and accurate trip information per company expectations.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and effectively assign drivers to trips at least four days in advance.
- Retain knowledge and understanding of companywide fleet.
- Maintain excellent communication and working relationships with drivers.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Analytical thinking skills to access situations.
- Proficient in computer technology, Microsoft Office programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous dispatch experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and Hours of Service regulations preferred.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend and sit.
- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds.
