    As a NOC Shift Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

    • Providing personalized care and assistance to residents.
    • Assisting with transportation arrangements and making appointments.
    • Engaging residents in health promotional activities such as exercise groups and walking clubs.
    • Administering prescribed medications and managing medication schedules.
    • Communicating with physicians and other healthcare personnel.
    • Implementing memory care and dementia-related behavioral interventions.
    • Participating in functional maintenance programs as developed by therapists.
    • Assisting with ambulation and mobility programs.
    • Monitoring and addressing personal needs, such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene.

    Requirements:

    • High school degree or equivalent.
    • Prior experience in caregiving or a related field.
    • Availability to work night shifts and weekends.

    24 hour, awake staff on duty.
    Assistance with outside transportation arrangements.

    Basic and moderately advanced Health services included in one (not all) of assessed levels (see fee schedule) may be:
    Monthly weights and vital signs
    Limited, prescribed therapeutic diets (pureed, mechanical soft, thickened liquids)
    Glucose monitoring, insulin administration
    Medication management
    Communication with physicians and other designated health care personnel
    Memory Care and Dementia Related Behavioral interventions
    Functional Maintenance Programs as developed by therapists
    Ambulation and mobility programs
    Monitoring of identified personal needs of bathing, dressing, hygiene
